Purpose: your own private focus
My purpose is to improve conditions, to relieve suffering.
I set every Thursday aside as a day especially & intensely dedicated to help people have the change they want, in any aspect of their life.
I’ve been doing this for quite a while and it’s helped many people in many ways.
You’re welcome to join in for assistance with any improvements you have in mind.
- Everyone is welcome to receive the benefits of this special focus day, it isn’t necessary to be one of my clients.
-As a matter of fact, you don’t need to let me know that you are participating.
-There’s no fee for you to pay.
-There is no particular form for you to follow, however you choose to ‘get quiet’ is perfect!
-It will take about 5 minutes of your time (or less) and involves simply knowing what you want and stating it.
General Instructions:
-Sit or lie quietly, breathe in and out slowly and gently and deeply
-Close your eyes
-State what you want, what your intention is
-Turn your thoughts to a pleasant scene, something remembered or imagined
-or: silently repeat a phrase that has a special, uplifting meaning for you
-or: each time you inhale silently say “in” and each time you exhale silently say “out”
-Continue sitting or lying quietly while focusing on your scene or on the words you are repeating silently for 3 -5 minutes.
-Get up and go about your day.
** You can also state your intention to participate in the Thursday dedication by stating your desire to participate during your regular meditation or visualization practice.
